How the estimate works
Comfee Jordan’s base sizing rule is 12,000 BTU/h per 16 m² at 2.8 m ceiling height. Base BTU/h = length × width × 750 × (height ÷ 2.8). Sunlight adjusts this base by +10% for strong sun or −10% for heavy shade; add 600 BTU/h per person above 2 and 4,000 BTU/h for a kitchen. The suggested split size is the smallest 12,000 / 18,000 / 24,000 BTU/h capacity that covers the estimate. Larger loads need an engineered selection.
At 2.8 m, before optional adjustments: 16 m² → 12,000 BTU/h · 24 m² → 18,000 BTU/h · 32 m² → 24,000 BTU/h.
